Bananas blend in very well with almost all fruits in the market, making it one of my favorite fruits. If you’re ever feeling low on energy during a working day bananas are your go to fruit, they provide an instant energy boost. They also help reduce blood pressure and contain antioxidants which are great for your body.
Here’s a nice easy recipe that you can serve as breakfast, a snack or an after meal dessert.
Banana Berry explosion
2 Bananas sliced
1 cup strawberries roughly chopped
½ cup raspberries/blueberries chopped
1 tablespoon honey
¼ cup yoghurt (flavor of choice)
1 tablespoon lemon zest
- Combine all the fruits in a bowl and mix well Add the yoghurt and mix with a wooden spoon (gently to avoid mashing the fruit) Top off with the honey and lemon zest. Chill in the fridge and serve. Enjoy.
